The five-bedroom Manor House, which has been privately owned since the 15th Century is meticulously maintained and has the luxury of being steeped in English history yet ensuring all the modern comforts and amenities for a relaxing stay whether its for a special occasion or just for a few days away.

With its exquisite Cotswold stone buildings, award-winning gardens and beautiful interiors, Temple Guiting Manor is the perfect hideaway.

"One of the finest, if not the very best of the small Cotswold Tudor Houses" Sir Nikolaus Pevsner who was awarded the Gold medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects, Author The Buildings of England.

The owner has sympathetically redeveloped The Manor, working closely with Ptolemy Dean, celebrated architect specialising in listed buildings and Jinny Blom, award winning landscape gardener.

The interior design is elegant and timeless providing a beautiful but comfortable house with all the modern comforts of home.  There is lots of space for entertaining or relaxing in the two individually designed Drawing Rooms and Snug.  The large heraldry styled Dining Room seats up to 24 with a table that converts into a full sized Billiard Table; and the Dining Hall with antique furniture and exposed beams can comfortably seat 12. The Manor has five luxury double bedrooms to sleep ten people (plus 2 children under 12) but if you are a larger party, there is a luxury 5 bedroom converted barn and one bedroom converted cow shed to choose from too.

The kitchen has a service door to the Dining Room and is well equipped with a range, American fridge, Robert Welch cutlery and Sophie Conran for Portmeirion tableware and glassware.  Fabulous chefs are also available for anything from simple drop off suppers to elaborate 10 course fine dining menus.

A highlight of your stay has to be the exceptionally beautiful gardens - there is a private lake; a tranquil and serene water garden; a vegetable garden and an abundance of wonderful flowers, herbs and shrubs plus an all weather tennis court shared with The Barn sheltered by mellow dry stone walls.

For pampering, there is a resident Beauty Therapist offering a range of treatments in the privacy of your own room; or if you prefer, treatments can be arranged at nearby Cowley Manor Spa. Clay shooting and Fly fishing can also be arranged off site or alternatively you can choose from make up lessons; flower arranging; wine tasting; cocktail mixology; and tennis lessons at The Manor.
